Hi Bob, That happens to me every single time I get that notice. If you wait a day, or even a few hours, the renew link appears. It appears that the notice goes out before the renew link appears. If you just wait and keep checking, it'll show up before your book expires and returns to the checkout page. Hopefully, you have a better memory than I do and can remember to renew the book before it actually expires. I often forget to check more than once to see if the renew link has appeared until after the book has expired and have to download again anyway. Hopefully you're not as memory challenged as I am. In any case, if you are just patient, the link to renew the book will appear before the book expires, just not immediately after you receive the e-mail telling you that you need to renew. Sorry for the ramble!. The message goes on to say, "If you are in the middle of proofreading the book and would like to complete your work, visit the "My Checked-Out Books" link after login. Next to the book you are working on you will find links to Upload, Release or Renew the book. Select "Renew" to be granted 14 additional days to work on the book. Thank you, The Bookshare Team". The only thing wrong with that message is that there is no "renew" button, but there is a "rtf" link. I got around the problem by releasing the book then checking it out again. But, what happened to the "renew" button? Thanks, Bob [with a perplexed look on his face]
