[bksvol-discuss] Re: books-being scanned list updated Fri., July 10

I didn't report here that I was going to scan them, but recently I have had
the same thing happen to me. I ordered a copy of Malcolm X Talks to young
people and after it came in and just before I was going to scan it I checked
the collection and an outsourcer beat me to it. Then I ordered a copy of By
Any Means Necessary by Malcolm X. An outsourcer added that one at almost the
exact same time it arrived at my house. Okay, yesterday I ordered another
one. This time, though, I sent an email to volunteer@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and asked
if an outsourcer was working on it. Carrie checked for me and let me know
that they were not, so I ordered the book. I understand that Pavi is working
on a way that we can check ourselves, but in the meantime I would suggest
that you ask them to check for you before you buy a copy.

nation be free if it oppresses other nations? It cannot." Vladimir Lenin

You can remove the following, as bookshare outsourcers have graciously
already scanned the new book I bought.
