I followed Grace's advice and checked the download
list, something I did once but haven't kept on as I
should have.

I did find a title on the list of a book I validated
and uploaded many months ago--but I checked my lists,
and the Administration queue list, and I don't tink my
upload, which was entitled BSO THE Last Express,
because it's intended to replace the copy alreay in
the collection, is the same one now on the download
list with a note to confirm copyright. For one thing,
that one doesn't have a BSO. For another, I think the
copy I uploaded was scanned by Shelley, and the one on
the download list was submitted by someone else--I
forgot to note who, but I think the name begins with
K--Kate, Kristin? something like that.

That is one problem with books sitting on the admin
queue for so long--with the approval people taking
from the top of the queue instead of the beginning.
Since th admin Q is posted so infrequently, people
have no way of knowing what has already been scanned
and validated and and so duplicates get submitted--and
if the most recent submissions are the ones
approved--and, since I've been keeping track of new
additions to the collection, I've noticed that some of
them were last seen on the download list, so they got
validated and uploaded and approved quickly while
others are still sitting in the queue.

I'm going tooi ask Gustavo about The Last Express. I'm
quite sure the copyright on the one I submitted is
correct. I don't know about the one I just downloaded,
but I'll check it. I'll probably reject it with a
note. Unfortunately, I have no way to compare the two
to be absolutely sure they are differen t books, but
I;m sure Gustavo can figure it out--if he gets to read
my e-mail. smile
