[bksvol-discuss] Re: book available for proofing, had to release

Whoops, sorry about calling you Jackie, Jamie. My apologies! smile.

There isn't any way to add a comment, and I wasn't trying to say that you should have done that. smile. I was trying to say that I wish there was a way to leave a comment, but there isn't.

Hi, I was going to add a comment, but I didn't find the proper screen to do so. I hit enter where it said release, and the next page I was shown said I had no checked out books. I'm open to learning what I should do in the future, though, and by the way, my name is Jamie not Jackie. Thanks for enlightening her on the matter as I figured others experienced more in the page numbering issues won't have problems with this book I am sure and I wanted to give them a chance. Thanks and have a blessed day.

Actually, I have to disagree with you on this one, Valerie. smile. I agree, given Jackie's explanation, with Jackie's choice to release the book instead of rejecting it. Many of the experienced proofreaders here are able to easily figure out page numbering problems without it taking very much time.

Having a comment added on why it was released would sure be helpful, though!

Dear Jamie;

It sounds like it needed to be rejected, not released, if the pagination is problematic. You could write to Carrie and see what she suggests, but they need to have a comment in the history in all likelihood.

Hi, all, since I'm not positive what bookshare wants in the way of page numbers and unfortunately, I saw discrepancies and inconsistencies, I have no choice to release it since I'm not skilled at solving page numbering puzzles no matter how minor. I hate to do this as the book did sound interesting and an easy read/proofread. If anybody wants to take another stab at it, it is You may all prophesy by Steve Thompson. I appreciate the effort of the submitter in making this book available and I pray I do not offend anybody by doing this. Thanks and have a blessed day.
