[bksvol-discuss] Re: book available for proofing, had to release

Hi Kim,

The page setup dialogue is not in the formatting menu. It's in the file
menu. I just don't want anyone to go looking for it in the formatting menu,
not to find it and get discouraged.

Mayrie

Hi, Jamie, you probably already know this, but Lynnsky showed me a trick
before you start to proofread and one thing is to get rid of soft page
breaks. If you are proofreading in Microsoft Word, there is an option in the
formatting menu called page setup (the keystroke is U). Press enter then go
to the paper tab and you'll find a combo box. Set it to legal size and that
might solve your problem. I hope I got this one correct, Lynnsky. Regards,
Kim. P.S.: Sorry you're having a hard time with this one. K.

Hi, maybe I used the wrong wording, but when I hear my jaws say page so and
so and I hear it say a page number slightly smaller on a different page or
in the middle of a page surrounded by blank lines and the pages without a
blank line at the top, even though it's not as major as page break issues as
you described, still there are issues that someone experienced in page
issues and bookshare preferences related to them should fix them. I'm not
clear about what the manual says and yes I've read the manual before anybody
asks, yes, I did do my homework, LOL!!!! Thanks and have a blessed day.
