Hi Gwen,

That is a problem for newbies and "old timers alike". Right now I have about eleven books with holds for one person or another that were bounced back by Carrie, and haven't been touched yet. Am kind of hoping that the people they are being held for will finish the job, I can't finish it.

Had to do with page breaks and page numbers I think in most of them.

Books are

The Beast in the Garden
Stanley and the Magic Lamp
The Bellmaker
Stanley flat again

The two STanley books have been sitting for over two months, might be longer without anything happening to them.

Smile, so don't worry, it happens to all of us, smile. I have been scanning and submitting books now for about 8 years, going on nine, and have over 1150 books on the site, but I still get snagged by the approval process every once in a while.

It is odd because once I put a book in I just scan though and the next afternoon it was there I am not sure why and some books have never been approved it may happen sometime but it sure didn't happen as fast as that one did in fact, I had never had a book excepted in a day's time it actually shocked me I'm on a scanning break just because and I don't have anything to scan right now ain't ya glad LOLOL but I have 11 books that I wait to u put away until I see an actual email saying it is in the library then I put them away.

I'm curious if anyone has heard anything about a new way to aproove books. I checked in another book late last night or actually early this morning and again within a half an hour I got the message that it had been aprooved and was being added to the library. It seems almost like BKS might be using some sort of automated software approval or something. It's hard for me to imagine someone up at 2:00 AM aprooving books.

America has been called a melting pot, but it seems better to call it a mosaic, for in it each nation, people or race which has come to its shores has been privileged to keep its individuality, contributing at the same time its share to the unified pattern of a new nation. -King Baudouin of Belgium (1930-1993)
