Hi, Tina,
You've hit on one problem with the system. People who
submit books do get an email notice that their book
has been accepted or rejected after it goes through
the validation and administrator approval process.
Unfortunately, we validators don't. Thus some books
that validators have thought they approved have ended
up back on the download list and the validator didn't
notice, because we don't go back and look for books we
think we're finished with. The only to know if a book
you've validated is in the collection is to do what
you are doing, which is to check the collection. I've
decided that I also should check the download list to
see if a book is back on it for some reason, but I
probably won't. It takes too long to load, for
impatient me, even with cable or DSL. modem. When I
want to check the collection I go to Advance Search
and use Find, and I get results very quickly.
