I do the same thing Mary does for two reasons. First, like Mary said, I
think the statement is more accurate. Second, I think it sounds better
when
using a screen reader.
I'm sure either phrase is acceptable. *smile*

I feel I ought to explain why I choose the wording on pages that appear to
be blank that I use. Because I can't see the original page, I don't know
whether it OCRs as a blank page because it is truly blank, or because it
contained a picture or some other graphic thing that OCR just opted to
consider nothing worth saving. I want to be as accurate as I know how to
be, thus, I say [This Page Contains No Text.] Just me being as careful as
I
know how to be.
And also, for whatever it's worth, the reason that I don't leave pages
entirely blank is so that no doubt will exist for future readers that
pagination has been preserved as accurately as possible. I'm just trying
to
give future readers as much accuracy and security in knowing they're
getting
the closest thing to the print book that I know how to give them.
All just my reasoning, and I'm not saying that anyone should do or think
as
I do. I just wanted to explain my position, since Sarah asked.

You still do the page numbering the same way. It's page break, blank

I recently found out I should put something on blank pages to let people
know the page is supposed to be blank. This seems dumb to me, but I am
willing to do it.
Can someone tell me exactly what wording and punctuation should be used
to indicate blank pages that should remain in the book?
I have a book ready
for upload except for that small matter, which is new to me.
Just think it would be dumb to be inconsistent in wording, because then
searching for blank pages wouldn't work.
