Thanks to an error on my part, this took a little longer than i had hoped.
Anyway you can sign up to the new informal bookshare list anytime after
about 8 A.M. eastern at:

(i am not a fan of freelists)
Here is the list description:
Here is a place for Bookshare.org volunteers and members alike to kick
back and put down their letter perfect scans, for a little while anyway.
Topics can
range from Bookshare itself to the price of soda in Utah. There is no such
thing as (o/t) on this list.

Now don't get me wrong, i personally don't mind o/ts to an extent, but it
was getting to the point where the off-topic msgs were the ones that
involved bookshare.
I will have a link up on my site tomorrow for this list as well as the other
two.
Just like my site, this is a pilot project, this may not work out at all,
but I have learned in life to give it a try before I pronounce doom upon
something.
