Hi Monica,
I'm sure Jeniffer will have the power to approve books, but whether that is a task given to her will be up to most likely Janice and Jim. I thihnk though that Jeniffer was hired to do other important things. These include working with developers and designers of BookShare to upgrade the quality of service in several ways. This isn't to say that book approvals aren't important, but we need the foundation of the site to be improved since its initial launch in 2002. Yes, the system has seen changes, but with the growth of BookShare, the system will need to change even more to support all of the new things we hope to see in the future.

Out of curiosity... Is Gustavo the only person on the staff who can approve books? I'm wondering about that since I thought maybe approval might also fall under Jennifer's domain once she's settled. In most companies, the general manager delegates things like this to another staff member while still keeping an eye on things.
