Hi Patti, I am not Amber, and I use a Braille Lite,, but I had somewhhat the same experience after my subscription ran out. I coulld still validate, so I validated a book in Word that Tiff uploaded so I would have soomething to do. Well, after I validated and approved the book, I tried to save it on my flash card by changing it to .brf. It worked on my Brl Lite until I lost my place. Then it was just garbage and I could no longer read it.. All that said,, is there any way this could happen on a Braille Note? I am just throwing my experience in the pot. I had to delete it from my flash card and wait until my subscription was renewed so I could download it from the collection. If by chance something like this happened in your case, you were just evaluating what you saw, and what you saw was illegible. So take heart and hang with it. <smile> Sue S. ----- Original Message ----- From: patti To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, October 15, 2005 10:05 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: a question on the last days of dogtown Hi Amber: No, I don't remember. It was all pretty foreign to me then. I'm learning more as I listen to all of you. I marked it as excellent when I rated it I think. Hey Patty, I'm just curious, when you uploaded the book did it give you a percentage of misrecognized words? What did the BKS automatic tool rate it, do you know? Amber "I expect to pass through this world but once.
