Amber,

The easiest thing to do then is copy and paste. Here it is: °. You should
also be able to find a list of ASCII characters and other character sets on
Wikipedia , en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page when you need another character
in the future.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] a question on ASCII characters

I have a question on ASCII characters. I am trying to create the degrees
symbol and on the MS word website it says for me to hold down the Alt key
plus hit 0176. The problem is that you have to do that with the num. pad
and I don't have one, because this is a laptop. I also hit insert plus F4
but don't see the degreese symbol. I see a"Degrees Masculine Ordinal" which
is not the same thing. any help appreciated.
