Hi, Everyone, I recently purchased Poets Market 2008 edited by Nancy Breen. After scanningn several random pages from this boo, I think it would be more advantageous for a person who can compare the print text with the scan to scan this book because it contains obviously many addresses. Also, some words in the descriptions of markets run together and it would be helpful for someone to look at the book. I would be happy to mail my copy to anyone who would be willing to scan this book and check that numerals are correct. I would be happy to validate the book. This book was revised in November 2007 and the publisher, Writer's Digest, information reads as follows: Includes over 1,800 completely updated listings for outlets such as magazines and journals, book/chapbook publishers, and contests. Features exclusive articles, interviews, and how-to guides, keeping readers up-to-date on trends in the poetry publishing world. Offers additional listings for the reader's personal enrichment, including conferences and workshops, organizations for poets, print and online resources, state arts organizations, and glossaries. Readers will find all the information necessary to research markets and submit poetry for publication. In addition to market listings, the 2008 Poet's Market provides how-to material on preparing and submitting manuscripts, identifying markets, relating to editors, and other solid information that makes the book an ideal beginner's resource as well as a trusted marketing guide that seasoned poets turn to year after year. Includes the latest developments in poetry writing and publishing through Insider Reports by and about working poets and editors. If anyone is interested in scanning this book please contact me off list. Thanks. Cat Lover Lori loralee.castner@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
