Dear Booksharians,Recently, I've wanted to really start validating more books in order to help the collection. However, due to the fact I'm still in high school and a certain lack of income, the computer I validate on does not have Microsoft ^Word, and Wordpad won't do (especially for detecting garbage characters.) Neither, in fact, will the BrailleNote I have--a book I proofread was rejected due to junk characters which I am unable to see. Can anyone recommend a suitable free word processing tool, or at least a way to make what I have work better?
