I don't know if this is a solution or not, but I thought of it when thinking
about my Reading Edge issue. If you validate .txt files using WordPad
instead of Notepad, it will give you the choice to save in Windows or MS-DOS
text format. Word should also do this. I believe that MS-DOS format will
preserve page breaks.
