Hi Judy,

Thanks again for your feedback on this. I reported the problem you were having to engineering and they looked into it and made some changes that hopefully have taken care of the issue. Can you try it out again with your voice recognition software and see if their fix did the trick?

Thanks!

All good things,

Pavi

Hi Pavi,

I love the idea! The current setup, however, is a pain in the

butt to use with my voice-recognition software. Every long line

of text scrolls off to the right of the screen to some set point,

and then wraps, instead of wrapping as it should on an ordinary

display. So I am constantly having to scroll right to read a

long line, then scroll back to read the beginning of the next

line, which means I have to use about eight commands to move

around on a the screen to read each line. Ick! Someone needs to

tweek the html so that the pages don't do that. smile.

 Dear All,

I wanted to let you know that we are working to make the Bookshare Wish

List and the Books Being Scanned List that Cindy compiles, available on

the Bookshare wiki along with the Scanning & Proofreading Manual. At

this point, I have basically cut and pasted the lists Cindy sends out to

these pages. One of the immediate advantages of this is that you can use

the search feature on the wiki to search both lists at once. Before

making an announcement about these links to the entire volunteer

community I was hoping to have some of you on the volunteer list take a

look, and let me know how they work for you so that we have a chance to

 improve them if necessary.

Here are the links to the two lists:

 2. Bookshare Being Scanned List:

Looking forward to hearing from you – and as always gratitude to Cindy

 for all her painstaking work.

 All good things,

 Pavi
