Hi all,
Lockport, eh? Well, that's about fifty miles from here on the way to
Buffalo. Since I can't drive, and since the book's in Orleans County,
not Monroe, I don't imagine I'll be able to pick it up. You can get
the exact distance if you've a mind, my zipcode is 14618. I think
Lockport is 143-something, as it is between here and Buffalo. It's a
tiny town on the Erie Canal, and it's in the middle of the NY fruit and
veggy country. So, it doesn't surprise me that the library there would
have it. Lockport is Small Town USA, nothing much happens there.
