Yes, speaking of names.
I paddled on a team last fall. While on the boat it is not uncommon for the
caller to call things out to different paddlers. We had a Klynn, Galen and
Kaitlyn:)

Ah, Cindy, believe me you guys have it easy.

In my mother's class in high school there was a

Nole, and a Newel. And to top that off, they were twin brothers.

My mother is a maternal twin, and my grandmother got the brilliant idea to
name them. get this Katherin, and Kathleen. smile.

They are known as Kathy, my mother, and Kay.

Smile.

Does make things interesting though.

Especially as my dad's older brother, "Uncle glen" married a "Aunt Kathy"
smile. They always got packages mixed up at Christmas time. We finally put

Kathy from Corry, and Kathy from Russell on the packages, smile.

I have a friend who's family name is "Waters". His wife, is Crystal, his
nickname is "muddy", and their daughters are "Rain" and "Kate".

Smile, not joking at all on this one.

So sorry. I checked my notes again. It's Amber who
needs help with that book, was going out of town, and
not coming back until the end of next week. I always
get you two mixed up, i.e., I can never remember which
of you wanted what. It's because both of your names
begin with the same two letters, and I don't
concentrate hard enough. I have the same problems with
my daughters, both of whose names begin with D. If I
realized when we named them that I'd sometimes call
each by the other's name or speak of them that way,I'd
have chosen different inital. Now I have the problem
that my daughter's ex-husband and her new husband both
have names that begin with Ma. I'm so afraid of
calling the new one by the old one's name, so I've
taken to referring to the latter, if I have to, by
"ex."

Cindy
