I justt got the mount from the collection this evening. Isn't that weird?
It was a perfect scan and validation. And it looks like it may become one of
my favorite books.

Just got an email saying my validation of the science fiction novel "The
Mount" by Carol Emshwiller was accepted. This was an odd book, but well
written, and I think it has won some awards. The author wrote the book
from two points of view, alternating between the world as seen from the
perspective of a young alien who is being groomed to rule a conquered
world (which happens to be earth), and from the perspective of the young
alien's riding beast, a 12 year old human boy.
