No, actually once the book is downloaded, you may edit it if you are so inclined. I never have actually done so, and I also don't write notes in a book like some people do--I suppose because I never could do so in the past, I never do so now. If I'd downloaded the book from the collection, would I be able to do that to improve my reading pleasure or is the content of the book frozen, as it were, once it's in the collection? Just curious.
