Hi, Cindy. Yes, you can make corrections as you read a book once it's
downloaded. I do it all the time for my own personal collection. Take care.

I've wondered -- Can a person who has downloaded a
book from the collection to read use a replace to
replace errors? replacing "die" with "the" might not
be safe, depending on the book, but in some cases I
would think it would help if it can be done just as it
can be done when validating. For example, the book
I'm validating now has been using "lie" as "he." I'm
pretty sure that he word "lie" is not going to appear,
at least not often, so I replaced whole words only,
lie with he. If I'd downloaded the book from the
collection, would I be able to do that to improve my
reading pleasure or is the content of the book frozen,
as it were, once it's in the collection? Just
curious.

Cindy
