Scott, I followed your steps in this message exactly.My warning box was on , so I changed it to off. Yet when I closed and opened IE, it still had the same old security dialogue. What could be going on? Oh, and yes I remember to save my changes. I know cause I went back and checked. It is still turned off. BTW, I have IE v 6.

Ok Allison,Thanks for the dialog box. Since it doesn't appear as though there is an option in the dialog asking if you'd like to disable the alert, I would try the following:1. While in Internet Explorer, press alt+t to open the tools menu. 2. Press o to open the Internet Options dialog box.3. Press control+tab until you get to the advanced page, or you can get there a bit more quickly by pressing control+shift+tab. 4. On the advanced page, press the letter w, until you hear: Warn if changing between secure and not secure mode-On. If you do in fact hear the word on, press the spacebar to turn this mode off.5. Press enter to activate the ok button. 6. Close and reopen Internet Explorer, and try Bookshare.Caveat number one: I'm using IE version 7, so the process in a different version might vary somewhat.
