Hi Valerie, I'd replace check marks with a bold letter X as you say. A check mark would probably be butchered by the braille translator. It is absolutely fine to rescan pages that need to be rescanned, if you have the software to do it, or know someone who does and you can then paste the pages into the file. Please think about converting the tables to text, if they can be understood that way. The braille translator also doesn't seem to be dealing well with all tables at the moment. There are numerous, and I do mean numerous, checklists in there, some as examples that are completed, and others for the reader to use to evaluate their progress and I do not know how to best handle them. Would it be improper to rescan those with software that will preserve the table structure since I am sure those probably reach havoc with screen readers or Braille software, but I am just guessing. Also, is there a keystroke combination to emulate a check mark, or am I best off just replacing them with a bold letter X.? Thanks for your help!
