I did look, through the whole page. Only saw that one sentence.

Patti,

Keep searching for the word Error. There's bound to be an error message
somewhere on the page that comes back with the missing filename. If you
can't find the word Error, then you may have to just read the entire page to
find it. The error message should be next to the field with the error,
though.

But if that is all that is wrong, what do you do about it, it isn't taking the file. I mean, that is all I see that is wrong anyway. confused, Patti

Patti,

I think hitting the Upload button clears the Select File field as part of
the upload process. I agree, it's a pain and probably causes new
submitters
a lot of frustration.

Pam,

My impression when I read Patti's e-mail was that she was not changing the
filename on her harddrive, just on the form. That would probably explain
an
error message about the file lenth being 0 and would definitely explain
why
she couldn't upload. Sounds like she was trying to upload a file that had
a
single quote in its name or a file that didn't exist.

Does that sound right to you, Patti?

Don't know but that did the trick. Now, another puzzler. I am trying
to submit a text file. All is in order, though a message keeps coming
back
that says, "Some of the data you submitted is either missing or
incorrect."
When I scroll down, every time that upload file info is missing. It's
like
it disappears by the time I get to the upload button. And I even go back
to see if it is there, then go back to the upload button. But I get it
back
again, with the file upload info missing. I even transferred the file to
my
desktop, thinking my documents file was too big to find the file I want to
upload; it didn't help. Where the heck does it go to? The missing
upload
info is all that is wrong! Very strange.

Wait a minute. Now I don't get it. Why would changing the title within
the file make a difference? I've renamed files before and they've gone
as a result, but I've never had to change anything within the file
itself.
