The book I'm almost finished validating has had several places where parts of 
the sentences are raised. After fixing a few of them individually I finally 
just blackened the whole file, went to Font in Format, clicked on Character 
Spacing, and made both spacing and position Normal.

I work in Word, so I don't know if my explanation of what to do is either clear 
or helpful. sigh
