Hi, Debby, being cautious as a rule when it comes to computers, I don't want to experiment in a way that will get me into a situation I can't get out of. Causing the computer to crash is a definite no-no (grin). I'm also really glad there is a cancel option for most things. Regards, Kim. -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Debby Franson Sent: Tuesday, December 22, 2009 8:33 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Stripping headers Hi Kim! Stripping headers letter by letter would be mighty tedious, indeed. Congratulations for experimenting and glad the selecting worked. Experimenting is a good way to learn sometimes. Just don't save if you have second thoughts about something you are doing ever. In that case, just close Word, decline its offer to save your changes and reopen it and then load the file and find where you were working and continue your work. There have been times when I wish I had thought to not save too hastily in my computing life, not just while proofreading.
