Hi, Monica, I don't know why I thought to do the select/delete thing. It actually was an experiment on my part. I was on a header and selected everything there (with the exception of the page number, of course) and pressed the delete key. No header! So I thought: "This is neat. I like this." I don't generally think I'm good at problem-solving. Certain things may not be obvious to me. I'm very glad this one worked out. I had no idea you were deleting letter by letter. No wonder you were dreading working on headers. I didn't think to ask you about that. I'm so glad you've learned how to select the entire line. I'd go nuts if I had to delete things by letter.
