That was suggested. However, it is not possible to highlight the row of
dots. If I could do that, I would just delete them. Based on Evan's
suggestion, I am going to reject the book and hope the scanner can redo it
or put it in the page breaks. Those dots may forever remain a mystery.

I think that someone already answered this question but I believe I deleted
the email before I could read it.
Any way, highlight the dot/dashes and do a find and replace changing the
dot/dashes for line/page breaks. HTH
