Hello all,
I'm jumping into this conversation a little late, but wanted to put my two
cents in. Mainly about books being kicked back to step 1. Personally, I
would love to see something implemented where the volunteer would get a
first option to get the book back if it is to be kicked back to step 1. For
myself, I don't validate much as I'm more of a submitter, but I remember
some months ago I validated a book and as it was incredibly clean, sent it
in for admin approval. By chance the next day or so, I happened to scan step
1 and saw it there. It'd been kicked back for copyright verification. I
managed to grab it again and do the verification, but all the while wondered
about the manner in which books are sent back.
I sincerely hope this process can be changed. Bookshare is wonderful, but
like all things, there can always be room for improvement. I speak not to
criticize, only to provide helpful comments.
