Hi Jill, That "smart tag" thing has to do with Word's automatic spellcheck feature. If you want to turn it off and need instructions let me know--I can't remember how to do it offhand but if I go look at Word I can figure it out easily. The easiest way to see if Word has eaten page breaks is to use the ctrl-pagedown command. If you haven't done other searches during that session this will move you to the top of the next page. Do that a few times and see if you're landing on the header, if there is one. Normally Word only eats page breaks in .txt files, so if you're working with rtf or doc you should be fine in that regard. Kellie
