Hi Kellie,

While Wordpad doesn't seem to eat hard page breaks, it doesn't display them for me, or allow me to add any.
My MS Word 2K does a very nice job of ditching any of the original hard breaks if I change anything in the original txt file. Word will let me add breaks while I'm working on the file, but as soon as I save it in any of the txt formats, it ditches all of them and places hard breaks according to the page setup in Word.

Hi Dave,
I haven't known Word or WordPad to actually eat hard page breaks created by
other programs. But it's certainly true that neither program will keep
breaks you try to add to txt files.
