Hi Shannon,
Generally, there's nothing wrong with editing with Word. There are just some
things it does that aren't wonderful for the purpose of editing books. Word
is expecting users to do things like write letters and papers and business
documents as well as web pages. It can handle advanced formatting, and
sometimes it's being advanced when you want it to be simple and just leave
your document alone. <grin> It may add or change formatting in an
undesirable way without your knowledge or permission.
