[bksvol-discuss] Re: Series Captains Update

Nancy,

Thank you for the diligence you put into making this project such a success!
That is an amazing number of series and Captains for an initial launch.

And thanks again to out illustrious librarian, Amy McNeely, for coming up with
the idea.

This is one example of where Bookshare offers something unique to its members
solely because of the dedication of its volunteers. Cheers to the book sleuths
who track down and add these missing titles to the collection.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Series Captains Update

Good Morning,

The newly updated series captains list is available on the Web site. Please
visit:

https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Series+Captains+List

Please review the list and if you don’t see your series on there, please drop
me an Email and I’ll gladly add it.
When adopting a new series, please send me the name of the series, the author,
an Email address you wouldn’t mind seeing on the Web site, whether you’ll be
scanning, proofing, or some combination thereof, and a list of books that
Bookshare already has, and books that still need to be added or rescanned.

For those who already have series on the list, please drop me a note to update
any of the above information. I was thinking that folks could use the Email
address to contact you about your series. If everyone thinks this is a good
idea, I’ll add a column for that information.

Thanks to everyone for participating.

You can reach me by Email at
nancy_feldman@xxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:nancy_feldman@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Have a great weekend!
