Hi Shelley,

What types of games does Play It cover? And I look forward to the Color Me
Beautiful books, too, but I'll jump into another thread for that discussion.

One thing that would be helpful for anyone browsing through a library is a
list of good book recommendations, books on card games that would interest a
lot of folks.

Let me know if you come up with some recommendations.

Lora

I think if they are older books, they don't have the card pictures. Smile.

I am willing to look in my library too,

Have a book called "Play It" already done, and we also have According to
Hoyle in the collection.

Can prevalidate Play It after I am done with the Color Me Beautiful books.
Got them scanned, now for the prevalidating step.

I've been thinking of scanning books on card games such as bridge and Texas
Hold 'Em. My first question is whether there would be those interested in
seeing these on Bookshare. Are there other game books that would interest
you?

My second question is this: Most books on card games use pictures for the
cards. Is there any way to tell the OCR package something such as: When
you see this picture, put jack of clubs or jc or something there instead.

And my third question is: If I do take the time to scan such books, or beg
someone else to do them, how would you want the cards represented. Options
include:

ten of clubs (lengthy)
xc (how I would see it on a card)
10C (a possibility)

Thoughts?

Lora
