I haven't looked lately, but both Kurzweil and freedom scientific used to put a list of scanners that work well with their systems on their website.

Hi all,

You need a twains or is it sane compatible scanner. stay away from odd brands. Go for HP or Epson or something that is a common, recognizable brand.
