I do have Microsoft Office, but do not understand how to repair Word with 
it.  If I press enter on the file that says "activate product" it says, 
"product already activated."

Someone may have pointed this out, but there are a few options in MS
Office allowing for the repair of Word.  Hope you saved those Office setup
fil  editors that would work.  Has anyone tried validating through one of
the Web-based WP sites such as Writely?

They should be Googlable; since, like Victor Kayam, They bought the company!

If we're talking .RTF files, there might be some free eidto
