Hey, Thanks:) I hadn't thought of that. But the question is, How do you detect font size in K1000. Now that I think about it I've never done it. Because of this, the line typically contains fewer words, so some publishers allow the last word to be split using hyphenation and carried over into the regular text. Didn't think to tmention that. You'll also want to make sure the font size is consistent when you fix the split word. Maybe one of the sighted volunteers can comment on this. Katie Hill You can learn a lot if you are humble enough to listen. Some of the books have a tendency to allow the last word to be split at the end of the line of all caps using hyphenation and carried over into the regular caps. I always put the word back together by moving the end of the word up to the line of all caps, then change the rest of the word to all caps so that the case is consistent. That to me seems to be the best compromise for preserving the way the book is formatted while still fixing the split words so that the book reads better for speech. Hope that's ok.
