Hi, Cindy. Jaws actually can use a different voice for quotations such as dialog. However, it looks for normal quotation marks to do this. As for the apostrophe, I can silence it for the most part except that Jaws won't supress it if it's at the beginning of a word or next to a period or a question mark. I use a Dectalk Express, and that may be part of my problem. What I want is for Jaws to say nothing, just like it does when there are normal quotation marks. I just want it to read a sentence like normal.
