Hi, Kelly. I know they share files. Which files, I don't know. For example,
I know Word and Outlook Express share the spelling dictionary, so all Office
programs probably share that, and who knows what else. *smile* Take care.

Hi Sue,
What Julie says makes sense--the parts of Office probably share some files
and it gets all confused if you remove it in bits and pieces. Maybe the
solution is to uninstall Office entirely and start over. There is probably a
way to install only the parts you want. I bought my Word 2000 as its own CD
and not as part of Office, but I don't know whether or not you could still
get 2000. I've had mine for a few years.
