Hi Rui, You probably confused the people.. As yoou know, I did join. First you announced that off topic discussions would not be allowed; then later on the actual site you said that nothing was off topic. So now you have the beginnings of carpal tunnel for which I am very sorry, and you may not feel like moderating a list. Annd if you just get another chatter list, you will not like it.. <smile>> So you need, if you are going to attempt this again, to tell people what you want the list to be. Just my humble thoughts. You are a great volunteer. Good luck with your carpal tunnel! Guys I have the beginning stages of carpeltunnel and so repeatedly hitting the delete key for way off-topic messages is painful, literally. I recommended people use a third list or bookshare officially convert bookshare-discuss to a chatter list for several reasons. One of which, I saw a friend try to look through the freelists archives for some info and it was like a needle in a haystack amongst everything else. Also, this list is cranking out like 70 msgs a day +. To this end, I had created a third list, bks-friends@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I must say, the response to it was almost unanimous, not even my own sister joined. (smile) Well the list still exists and I figured I would give it one more chance. I would like to broaden the appeal of this list to more current bookshare members and I do not believe we can do that if this particular list continues to be this eclectic.
