Scott, Those reasons sound more like what members would give. Are those the choices volunteers have? There is a "Reasons for Volunteering" box. Answers include. "i want to join" "I want to volunteer because I use Bookshare." "i want 2 read book!! im a student!!" "BECAUSE I WANT TO READ MORE BOOKS." "I want to download books here to broaden my education. I'm very sorry if I'm not what your looking for, but I'm not much of a volunteer." "read books" "Share book" Scott Rains Benetech Fellow, Bookshare Volunteer Department ________________________________________ From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bob W [rwiley45@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, November 15, 2010 12:11 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Puzzled about all our new vounteer requests That's really interesting Scott.
