Thanks for the prompt answer. I'm a tad disappointed I'll have to buy software after all, but I think I can just get Word, rather than the entire Office suite. I'll look into it.
AndromacheP.S. If I can't proofread at the moment, I can still scan. I just bought a new scanner because my old one is too slow. Is color depth important for this sort of work if scanning complex things like textbooks?
