Actually the Braillenote maintains page breaks beautifully.

What about Open Office?

Breaks

I noticed that too. Microsoft word is the only editor I know of that
maintains pagination in an .rtf file. Both K1000 and openbook lose page
breaks when they import an .rtf file, if the breaks are section breaks, or
soft page breaks. MsWord, Kurzweil and openbook are pretty expensive, too.

I have been racking my brain to see if I can think of an inexpensive editor
that processes .rtf files and maintains page breaks. I've checked out
textpad, textpal and Edsharp, to no avail. Perhaps someone else uses
something besides MsWord for .rtf files and could give us a helping hand
here.

I don't have a notetaker, but suspect they, too, may have problems
maintaining pagination in an .rtf file.
