[bksvol-discuss] Re: Only 50?

Tracy,

Don't forget about all the books in the admin queue. Gustavo is only
counting the different volunteers whose books he's processed, not all of the
volunteers who've actually been working on books since you can't reduce your
subscription until Gustavo gets around to approving a book you worked on.

Also, some of us aren't eleigeable to get credits until our subscription
comes due again because we've met our quota.

HTH

Gerald

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Only 50?

I was surprised by one of the statistics in the newsletter, that 50
members have reduced their subscription cost by volunteering. I know some
of us volunteers are not members, but I think most are. Are there really
only a bit over 50 of us?
I try to recruit new volunteers--talk up how fun and interesting it is to
my friends and NFB chapter, though I don't know if I've had any takers.
No wait, a friend of mine tried to volunteer recently, but couldn't get
Bookshare to answer him, so he gave up.
If there are only 50+ of us, we need more volunteers! And we need
Bookshare to answer people who try to volunteer, and bring them into the
fold.
