Yes, I recall that now. Easily done, although they do seem to appear with spaces between them in books.

Hi! There was a discussion about this some time back, and I'm trying to remember what we decided. It seems that we decided that because of the Braille translation issue, it would be best to remove the spaces between the dots and put a space before and after the elipsis. Sounds like a lot of work, but a couple of well-planned uses of the find-and-replace command can fix them in a jiffy, as we say here in Tennessee. <Smile>

Usually, I see them with spaces before and after the dots, and spaces between the dots. I know that braille translators don't seem to like the spaces between the dots, but that's the way my K1000 and my OpenBook before that scanned them most of the time. Although, occasionally, I'll get three dots without spaces between them, this seems to be an artifact of the OCR not always accurately determining the distance between the dots. But usually, the dots have spaces between them.

If you see an elipsis, or however they appear in the books, do you try to have them have a space before and after, a space after only, before only, or
spaces between the dots?
