Please put a hold for me on the book when it's ready, and an email would make sure I go look for it in a timely manner.

Looking forward to the validation.

Hi Bob,

That doesn't make since to me. I have been a validator for
nearly three months and have never heard of someone sending the book
to another volunteer and having them validate it. I have, however,
seen that some submitters place holds on there books for certain
validators. I could email you when I have submitted it and could
place a hold on the book for you. Let me know if you would like me to
do this.

To Monica: I'm not surprised they are using the first addition of
a book about technology. In my opinion, they have really old
computers not to mention an old version of JAWS for Windows.

Thanks for all your help.

Regards,

Jess

It's odd that a school would use a first edition of a book about
technology given that the field changes so rapidly. Tech books are out
of date in a couple of years whereas literature books can hold their
own for a decade. I know this doesn't have anything to do with your
question. My mind is just wandering. (smile)
