I do laundry every week, but, I only buy things now that will most
definitely dry in the dryer wrinkle free or nearly so. I can remember
in college, however, and I suppose I am dating myself here, that I used
to put on those old reels of tape from RFB and do my ironing while
listening to my textbooks.
What I really hate to do is clean the bathroom or the kitchen, love to
cook but need someone to follow me around and clean up after me.
I think we should have robots to do housework, vacuum, take out the
trash, wash dishes and clean the toilets. What a waste of valuable
reading time that is!

I, too, am negligent about laundry. Cindy, although I don't put clean
clothes on the sofa like your friend, I do sometimes leave my lingerie
in
the basket and get what I need to wear. My son does his oown wash..
When
the family was home I was more efficient, but now I feel okay as long as
I
don't run out of things to wear. <smile>>

Good thing someone brought the laundry subject up, because I was
forgetting again. And believe me, the shortages are getting extremely
serious. Thank you so much for saving me!
Eventually the misery of not having anything to ware does get bad enough
to make doing it worth while.
