Hi Sarah, I don't think the cordless keyboard would be a good idea. I don't think it is just you. I wear the letters off mine too:) Kaitlyn No one is given a dream without also being given the power to make it come true Reconnective Healing energy Practitioner Numerologist, Get your personal reading Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the number of moments that take your breath away:) -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Sarah Van Oosterwijck Sent: Monday, June 06, 2005 11:52 AM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] OT keyboards & spillage I've heard about the dishwasher trick many times, so I believe it, although I don't think I will put my expensive RF cordless keyboard in there. I don't think I'll spill on it, but of course the laws of physics tend to stop working at just the most inopertune times. :-) I'll just make my husband take off all the keys and clean out the crud that collects in there. If he puts the keys back on it in the wrong order I won't care after all. LOL Did anyone else read that article in the Circuits section of the NY Times about the new fad in geek oriented keyboards? They don't have the keys labeled so everyone that sees it knows your too good to need them. :-) That must mean we're really cool. *grin* I think the keyboard they talked about cost 70 dollars and I thought I should start a business selling my old keyboards, because something about my fingers takes all the letters off in a very short time. LOL If i keep the keyboard too long the keys get big dents in them, and it isn't because i hit them hard, either. I certainly understand why people aren't allowed to touch stalagtites and stalagmites in caves. If I can damage the surface of something plastic I could sure stunt a cave formation.
