I have to say that I find dresses, without waist bands, way more
comfortable than jeans. Dress pants seem to be made in a more
comfortable shape with softer material, too. I don't ware my nicer
stuff all the time, because you are practically viewed as a weirdo if
you do, but sometimes I would sure like to. Fortunately they do make
some comfortable and casual close.

The exception to nice close being comfortable is women's business suits.
No one will ever catch me in one of those, an it won't matter what type
of job I am doing. :-) They are too stiff and tend to come in the most
boring and unattractive colors. That bothers me even though I have been
blind since the age of 9.
Just for my vanity I have to say that I do not have a wait problem, I
just can't stand being reshaped to fit my clothing instead of the other
way around. :-)
Maybe that stuff is okay for standing, but it gets tortuous after
sitting a long time, which is what you do when you use a computer a lot.
