Hi all,

<cynical mode>
Yes, it is tragic, it is cruel, and it is, as my mother would have said, "a shame before God." However, people are like that, and it isn't even the extremist sects of Islam who are the only culprits. There are people in this country who fill the ears of innocent PWD's with propaganda and stir them up and insight them to demonstrate for causes they truly do not understand. It is one of the very worst things which human beings can do to each other. <smiling sardonically> Heck, it doesn't even apply to folks with disabilities. If your minister tells you that Harry Potter is bad, then, if you aren't a thinking person, you will believe him or her, and you will not read it and you will not experience it. Yes, human beings impose their beliefs upon others on a regular basis. It's just that in this particular case, we are shocked. Would that we should be shocked at the less dramatic but no less insidious brain washing that happens on a daily basis.
